Drip tape longevity
0.15mm to 0.2mm drip tape can last for 2-3 seasons but typically farmers only use drip tape for just one season. Since the drip tape is either recycled by plastic processing factory or damaged during harvesting after the crop matures. A thicker wall drip tape will last longer. Lightly buried drip tape will also last longer.
Here are some information about drip irrigation tape that may be helpful to you.
Drip tape package: 100m/roll, 500m/roll, 1000m/roll, 1500m/roll, 2000m/roll, 3050m/roll.
Working pressure: 0.8bar to 1bar. Pressures higher than this can damage the tape or cause it to burst so you will need a pressure regulator.
Flow rate: 1.38 L/H, 2L/H, 3L/H, 4L/H.
Thickness: This ranges from 5mil (0.13mm) to 16 mil (0.4mm), and 6mil (0.15mm) and 8mil (0.2mm) being the most common.
Holes: Single hole, double holes or no hole.
Length of run: This is between 260 and 1500 feet depending on the flow rate and diameter of the tape. 600-700 feet is typical. Lower flow and larger diameter tape allows for longer run lengths.
Package: Custom packaging is available for orders of 800 rolls or more.
Drip tape fittings: Coupling, elbow, tee, offtake, end cap, valve, filter, main pipe, hole punch.
